Two founders with broad experience

Georix Engineering draws on the experience of two founders with a long track record in geotechnical design and construction. We stay close to every project and are always directly available to our clients.

Xavier Raucroix

Co-founder

Xavier has more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical design and management. At an international Belgian contractor, he built broad expertise in leading geotechnical design teams and guiding complex projects.

He worked on major infrastructure and building projects in Belgium and abroad, including the Oosterweel Link (Belgium), the Rottemeren tunnel within the De Groene Boog project in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and the quay walls of the port of Gdańsk (Poland). He was also involved in the foundation design of the Radisson Blu hotel in Switzerland, the IMEC tower in Leuven and the Sluishuis in Amsterdam.

At the world leader in geotechnics, he broadened his experience to smaller-scale projects and deepened his expertise in business management and entrepreneurship.

Xavier is a civil engineer (UCLouvain), visiting lecturer at ECAM Brussels and vice-chair of the Belgian Group for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics.

Education and research

Knowledge that grows with the profession

Our founders teach in master's programmes and follow recent research. For clients, that means designs based on the latest knowledge, translated into practice. For young colleagues, it means direct access to senior expertise and guidance. For students, it offers master's theses, internships and room to specialise.

We are growing

The team is growing

The team is growing with young engineers whom we train and coach ourselves, and with additional senior and mid-level profiles.
